SewHow to Send and Receive Money via BlackBerry Messenger
Now you can send and receive money directly via Blackberry messenger if you are a Nigerian who runs an online based business. This feature is a service provided in partnership with Interswitch’s Qiuckteller. You can easily request money right within the chat window and get paid fast. This is as easy as sending a picture to someone on BBM. To get started, you will need to download the app on your Blackberry or Android phone.
While chatting with any of your BBM™ contact that you want to receive money from, simply tap the Quickteller icon in the attachment menu to compose a special request for money. The request would be sent to your friend’s BlackBerry® Messenger. S/he need to tap on the request and enter his/her card details. After which the money would be credited to your bank account immediately. You may wonder how safe this is. It’s simple. You only send money to those who you know and acknowledge their request for money. If you don’t want to send money, don’t accept the request.
In addition to sending and receiving money via Blackberry messenger, you can also do bank account transfers, fund your verve eCash or just top up your airtime. Quickteller Mini is the app that makes all these & more possible with no trouble at all.
How to get started
Simply download and install the Quickteller Mini app to your smartphone. It is available on Blackberry App World and Google Play Store. After downloading, login to your Quickteller account (or create one if you are new). The app will send a verification code via SMS. After verification is done, you will be asked to link to your BBM app. Once you give the approval, you are ready to go.
