The management of Delta State University (DELSU), Abraka, has published the list of sixty four students rusticated from the institution for their alleged involvement in examination malpractice.
According to a report from the Delsu Bulletin, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. V.F. Peretomode, approved the recommendations of the Examination Malpractice Mobile Disciplinary Committee for the Second Semester of 2014/2015 Academic Session for Regular Programmes at its sittings for students who appeared to defend themselves against the various alleged acts of gross misconduct and breach of matriculation oath.
It stated that all penalized students are to serve the penalty(ies) indicated against their names while those discharged should resume their studies accordingly.

The University also informed all students who refused to appear before the Examination Malpractice Mobile Disciplinary Committee (EMMDC) that they are placed under indefinite suspension.
They are to appear before the committee on Wednesday, 28th and Thursday, 29th October, 2015 at the Pharmacy Students Association Office (Pharmacy Lecture Room) opposite Examination Centre, Site III, DELSU Abraka.
Failure to appear before the Committee, such defaulting student’s suspension shall be converted to reflect the punishment against his or her offence.
