See How Cultists Killed This Final Year Poly Student

Some suspected cult members have killed a final year student National Diploma student in Business Administration of the Delta State Polytechnic, Ozoro.
It was gathered that the deceased, was killed in the early hours of Sunday in his hostel apartment at Uruole Street in the polytechnic community.

Though the identity of the deceased could not be ascertained at the time of filing this report, sources said he was asleep in the hostel alongside his two room mates when the hoodlums invaded into their apartment and shot him on the neck.

A source in the deceased’s neighbourhood, said they had heard a gunshot at about 1am on Sunday morning, saying the deceased was later found dead after his assailants had fled the area.

Contacted, the Police Public Relations Officer of the State Police Command, Celestina Kalu, confirmed the incident.

She, however, said the killing resulted from a cult clash, adding that “there was a gun at the place where his corpse was found.”

Kalu said the police had commenced investigation into the matter.
