Arsenal have a deal in place to sign Juventus star Stephan Lichtsteiner, who will become Unai Emery’s first signing at the Emirates. The right-back is out of contract with the Old Lady at the end of the season and can join another club on a free transfer from July 1st. The Swiss defender was in London last week to visit Arsenal’s training ground and is believed to be keen on a move to the Gunners. Emery wants to add cover for Hector Bellerin and believes Lichtsteiner would add some much needed experience to the squad he inherited from Arsene Wenger.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Arsenal have the deal in place to sign Lichtsteiner and the defender wants the move to be completed before the World Cup.
