sundays-arsenal-transfer-rumours-emil-forsberg-and-stefan-lichtsteiner

Emil Forsberg, Stefan Lichtsteiner and Caglar Soyuncu have all been linked with moves to the Emirates as Unai Emery enters his first transfer window as Arsenal head coach.

RB Leipzig winger Forsberg is reportedly rated at £47m, as per The Sun, with the Gunners said to be in talks with their German counterparts already to thrash out a deal.

Juventus and Atletico Madrid are also said to be interested in the player, with the 27-year-old already with Sweden's national squad ahead of their appearance at this summer's World Cup finals in Russia.

Freiburg defender Soyuncu has been linked with a move to London for several weeks, but could be on his way to Atletico Madrid, weeks after the Spanish side trumped Arsenal in the Europa League semi-finals.

Speaking to BeInSport, he said: "My friends who play in Spain tell me it is a fantastic competition. I watch La Liga games and from what Emre Colak, Enes Unal and Emre Mor have told me, it is a league I would love to play in.

"Atletico Madrid are a really strong team, very well-organised and they have a lot of ambition, a lot of potential.

"They deserved the Europa League title and would be a club I would love to play for."

The Evening Standard saysLichtsteiner has already been to Arsenal's London Colney training ground as he closes in on a move to the club at the end of his Juventus contract.

The 34-year-old full-back is reported to have been a long-term target for new Gunners boss Unai Emery, and the Standard suggests the transfer could be announced this week.

Goal are reporting Arsenal's hope of landing Chelsea winger Kenedy has hit a snag, with a number of other teams joining the queue to sign him.

The 22-year-old enjoyed a productive loan spell at Newcastle this season, but they have alerted RB Leipzig, Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich to his quality.
