police-conduct-hitch-free-cbt-for-intending-recruits-in-enugu

The Enugu State Police Command has successfully conducted a hitch-free Computer Based Test (CBT) for its intending recruit in Enugu State.

The News Agency of Nigeria reports that the test was conducted in four designated centres, which included AFRIHUB ICT Centre – 2, at Institute of Management and Technology (IMT) Campus 2 (Independent Layout, Enugu).

Others are IMT Learning Management Centre 1; IMT Learning Management Institute Centre 2 (Campus 3 Enugu) and Foretrust Digital Consulting Ltd; which is located at Plot 63A, Premier Layout, Ogui-Nike, Enugu. The command’s spokesman, Superintendent of Police, Ebere Amaraizu, told NAN in Enugu on Friday that the CBT test was conducted without complaints from the intending recruits.

Amaraizu noted that the test, which lasted for an hour, had all the shortlisted intending recruits who passed the command’s medical and physical screenings in attendance.

The spokesman, who did not give the actual number of the intending recruits that took the test, noted that the command had “over a thousand intending recruits for the test’’.

One of the intending recruits, Mr. Chukwudi Ani, said that the exercise was hitch-free as the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board stuck to the rules of timing for all.

Miss Chichi Ugwu, another intending recruit, noted that the test was on general knowledge, skill of grammar and calculation.

She said the examination was generally orderly and peaceful.

NAN recalls that President Muhammadu Buhari recently approved the recruitment of 6,000 policemen to strengthen security nationwide.

The recruitment is expected to follow strict regulations as laid down by the Federal Character Commission and the Police Service Commission.
